Dave Hinman
MO State Representative – District 103 (R)
Dave Hinman was initially elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2022 and commenced serving the residents of District 103 in January 2023. Currently, he serves on the following committees: Local Government serving as Vice-Chairman, Transportation Infrastructure, Special Committee on Tax Reform and Emerging Issues.

Dave was first elected in 2001 and re-elected in 2003 as an Alderman serving Ward 2 in the City of O’Fallon, MO. More recently, Dave was elected in 2014 and re-elected in 2017 and 2020 as a Councilmember for Ward 1 in the City of O’Fallon. He represents the residents in the Northeastern parts of O’Fallon.

In 2021, Councilmember Hinman was elected by his peers as President Pro Team for the O’Fallon City Council. The additional duties brought about a better understanding of the city regarding capital projects, budgets, economic development and employee compensation and benefits. Dave has successfully instituted weekly follow-up emails between staff and elected officials to assist with communication issues.
Dave retired from QuikTrip Corporation after 35 years of employment. He has worked in O’Fallon and Lake St. Louis for the past 28 years serving customers in a different way. Customer service was a key to success in his personal life job and he continued that through in serving the residents of O’Fallon as Councilmember. Dave and his wife Kathy have lived in O’Fallon since 1990 raising three children. They now have five grandchildren all living in St. Charles County area.

Dave is an active member of the O’Fallon community where he attends Assumption Catholic church, is an O’Fallon Elks member, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the O’Fallon Public Works Commission.

Dave has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Iowa State University in Ames Iowa.
